Wei Xiaoqiang, Secretary of the Party Committee of the College of Animal Science and Technology, Sha Jian, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee, Li Lina, Secretary of the Youth League Committee, Liu Cheng, Deputy Secretary of the Youth League Committee, as well as guiding teachers and key members of various social practice teams attended the ceremony.

Teacher Sha Jian gave a mobilization speech at the ceremony. He pointed out that in recent years, the college has actively carried out social practice activities, fully utilized the professional advantages of animal husbandry, veterinary and aquatic sciences, actively served the rural revitalization strategy, and played a positive role in promoting talent cultivation and local economic construction in the college. He hopes that various social practice teams will closely follow the theme of the activities, carefully organize and arrange, conduct in-depth investigations and research at the grassroots level, go out with problems, come back with achievements, and strive to improve the effectiveness of social practice.

Teacher Li Lina introduced the application and project status of summer social practice for students in the School of Animal Science and Technology in 2024. Teacher Liu Cheng conducts safety education and training.

Teacher Wei Xiaoqiang awarded flags to various social practice teams, encouraging students to take responsibility for the construction of a strong country and the rejuvenation of the nation. They should closely integrate the realization of personal value with the needs of social development, transform the knowledge they have learned into concrete practices of serving the people and society, and strive to become rational, responsible, hardworking, and determined young people in the newera.

It is reported that the 2024 summer cultural, scientific, and health "three trips to the countryside" social practice activity of the School of Animal Science and Technology of Guangxi University closely follows the theme of "youth takes the responsibility for Chinese path to modernization", and a total of 8 social practice teams will be set up to carry out patriotic education, Chinese culture inheritance, rural revitalization assistance, national unity practice, ecological civilization research and other activities in Harbin, Guilin, Liuzhou, Chongzuo and other places.
