On the occasion of the two national sessions, in order to implement the fundamental task of cultivating morality and cultivating people, improve the ideological and political work system, improve teaching effectiveness and education quality, and break through the current difficulties of ideological and political education in colleges and universities, the First Party Branch of the Faculty and Staff of the College of Animal Science and Technology held a general meeting of all party members of the branch in the 302 conference room of the college on the afternoon of March 5 to discuss the construction of ideological and political courses. The meeting was chaired by Comrade Jiang Qinyang, secretary of the branch.

At the meeting, Comrade Jiang Qinyang first shared the importance and implementation path of curriculum ideological and political education. He particularly mentioned that the construction of curriculum ideological and political education requires the joint participation and efforts of all teachers. Party members and teachers in the branch should give full play to their vanguard and exemplary role, take the lead in building curriculum ideological and political education, and contribute their own strength to cultivating socialist builders and successors with all-round development of morality, intelligence, physical fitness, aesthetics and labor. Afterwards, other party members talked about their understanding and recognition of curriculum ideological and political education in turn. Among them, Comrade Zou Caixia shared the importance of combining theory with practice in the construction of curriculum ideological and political education, and Comrade Song Ziyi shared the rich content of "politics" in curriculum ideological and political education, and emphasized that accurately grasping the spiritual essence of "politics" is the cornerstone and key to curriculum ideological and political education. The atmosphere at the seminar was warm and the results were remarkable.

The meeting also focused on studying General Secretary Xi Jinping’s important speech at the Third Plenary Session of the 20th Central Commission for Discipline Inspection - to deepen the party's self-revolution and resolutely win the tough and protracted battle against corruption. The meeting discussed the 2023 branch work summary materials, carried out democratic evaluation of party members, and deployed work for 2024.
